The new cottages consist of 3 adjacent renovated labourers’ cottages on the farm Skuinskraal. These are within walking distance from The Dairy.

Each cottage has a stoep area with a fireplace / braai facility an a well-equipped kitchen with open plan lounge/dining area leading onto the patio area through large stacking doors.

Friesland cottage has a boma fireplace in front of the cottage.

All three cottages have lovely views of the Outeniqua mountains.

Please note that the cottages only have showers (no bath tubs).

Unfortunately no pets allowed.

  • Fully equipped kitchens (with gas stove, electric oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery and cookware, microwave, kettle, bread toaster, coffee plunger/french press and a wide range of kitchen utensils)

  • Private bathrooms (with shower; only The Farmhouse include a bath)

  • Open-plan living and indoor dining and lounge areas

  • Comfortable beds with quality linen and bedding

  • Bath and hand towels provided

  • Indoor fireplace or wood-burning stove (only at The Farmhouse, The Dairy, Ayrshire cottage, Jersey cottage)

  • Fans, heaters, electric blankets on Queen beds (depending on season)

  • Basic toiletries (hand wash/shower gel) and kitchen essentials (salt/pepper/instant coffee/tea/sugar/fresh farm milk)
